Karnataka batting star Karun Nair has achieved triple century in the ongoing fifth test against England on Monday here in Chennai. Nair remained unbeaten with 303 runs as Team India declared it’s 1st innings 759/7 at the evening of fourth day. Nair faced 381 balls and smashed 32 fours and 4 huge sixes. Now he is the second batsman after Virender Sehwag to score a triple ton for India in Tests.
While, local lad Ravichandran Ashwin scored 67 runs and Ravindra Jadeja added a fifty. India claimed crucial first innings lead of 282 runs. Then England has started second innings and scored 12 runs after five overs.
