Parthiv Patel powers Gujarat to clinch maiden Ranji title

Skipper and wicket keeper batsman Parthiv Patel posted a significant knock of 143 runs against defending champ Mumbai as Gujarat captured maiden Ranji Trophy title here in Indore. Gujarat has successfully chased down the 312 runs target for the loss of 5 wickets on Saturday. 41 times Ranji champion Mumbai disappointed with the way of losing to Gujarat in the finals. Rujul Bhatt (27 not out) and Chirag Gandhi (11 not out) finished the task after Parthiv and Juneja returned to pavilion. Juneja scored 54 runs and played crucial role in the win along with his captain.
